Every day, hundreds of elderly nursing home patients in Arizona are at risk for becoming victims of nursing home negligence, abuse and medical misconduct. Some indications of elder abuse can include; unexplained injuries, such as bruises, scratches or burns, frequent or unattended pressure sores, frequent falls, soiled bed linens or clothing, a sudden or unusual change in behavior, such as depression or emotional withdrawal by the resident.
